No. Scylla is not an octopus girl. It would be more acurate if there was maws at the end of the tentacles.

Well can't blame you. There are many interpretations and many of those interpretations are based of other peoples interpretations. In this case I perfer to have the octopus mermaid be called a cecaelia, while the scylla would be much the same, but with the tentacles ending in fanged maws.
I am considering to try and illustrate all of my interpretations of various monster girls.
