Lighthearted comic depicting the tragedy of Team Rocket agent Butch, who is forever destined to be misidentified whenever inconvenient, apparently.What gave birth to this idea was my desire to see Giovanni get his name wrong to his face, which is a running gag re: Butch with other characters (even fellow Rocket members, though not ever Giovanni, to my knowledge) during his appearances in the show and the spin-off Pokemon Chronicles.
Poor Butch has my every sympathy.

Yes, I remember, and yes Cassidy forgot his name sometimes too lol. But it wasn't as much of a running gag as forgetting Butch's name, but what I really wanted to see was Giovanni himself calling him by the wrong name to his face, since he wouldn't really be allowed to talk back to him the way he does to others who forget his name.
Giovanni: Cassidy and Bitch! Fetch me some coffee! (idk, made up random situation)
Butch: THE NAME'S *catches self about to make huge mistake, corrects tone*..... Bitch, yes sir, right away.... *slinks away in defeat*
