"Do you want Dango or not?"

Kenji Hayame:

Back in his younger days, Kenji was a trainer who ruthlessly battles others without a heart. Having this trait made him a strong and worthy trainer, but it also made him very unpopular… as a person. Others despised the guy, but he didn’t really care since his motive was to beat everyone. That is… until he met Hiroshi. Hiroshi was the only one who had beaten Kenji which of course created rivalry. Through the countless matches to beat one and another, a friendship was oddly created. Kenji became a bit more sincere after that, thanks to Hiroshi.

Hiroshi is the older brother of Conan who is participating in the UBF 2011 tournament.

After the long years as a trainer, Kenji needed the break and decided (or more like forced) to help around his family’s small market. Soon after, they convinced Kenji to sell their popular Dango in the BFOI tournament; for both publicity for their shop and income.

He hates the job. But he loves the money.

The team:

Shades/Flygon: His trusty pokemon who delivers packaged Dango for those who order it. This pokemon rarely smiles since he’s all about ‘business.’ Shades is known for his fast flight. He’s actually even faster than Aizen. He uses this as an advantage to deliver the dango.

Aizen/Pidgeot: Kenji’s very first caught pokemon. Aizen has been with Kenji through thick and thin. He also is the only pokemon to see Kenji’s transformation from bad guy to …not so completely bad guy. Aizen is always loyal to Kenji and will always trust his master’s judgment whether it’s a good one or a bad.

Yuta/ Reuniclus: A pokemon given by Hiroshi. Unlike Aizen and Shades, this little guy is very rambunctious. All smiles and grins. Yuta was meant to lighten Kenji’s mood now and then since he’s always so moody. Yuta was at first annoying to Kenji, but as time passes, Kenji grew to like Yuta.
