Description Nearly finished guys, here's day 28 of inktober.
Cadmium has certainly gotten a lot of attention for this challenge. He looks particularly nasty in this piece too which makes me happy. Why are all of my OCs so damn mean? They're all a bunch of brats, does Cadmium even have any redeeming qualities?

Side note; writing in Cybertronian is fun and I wonder how many people (if any) are like me and actually take the time to translate the glyphs. X'D

Used this  for my reference

Feedback is welcomed and appreciated as always my lovelies. <3

I love this boy so much. That sassy tilt of his hips and smirky face are just divine.
Amazing work with his hands here too--they look so good!

Also can we just take a minute here to talk about how cute his freckles are?

Oh golly, thanks so much! Cadmium is a sassy boi, and I'd be lying if I said his freckles weren't my favourite thing to draw on him. XD I just love his freckles so much.

Aaaahhh thank you! That really means a lot to hear! ;3;
This one might be my favourite of the inktober pieces so far.

This pose is sweet and you're right, he really does look nasty in here - and I like it too, I mean, it's so cool what you can do just with a body language (cause ye, I'm too lazy to translate what he;s saying xD).

Thank you! Cadmium can be hard to find poses for sometimes, he's far more subtle with his gestures than Sylph is for example.
I'm glad that I've been doing alright with my poses though, body language is important but also difficult. XD

Eh, it's not a big secret; He's saying "what's my name"in the Decepticon dialect.

But he knows what his name is. xD I don't get the context. xD

Ahhh...how do I explain. He's saying "what's my name" not in the sense that he isn't aware of his own name, the idea of asking "what's my name" is more so a way of demanding the audience (or whomever Cadmium is speaking to) to say his name, know it, and remember it. He's being pretentious and a bit cheeky,  it's a way of saying he's worth remembering. Does that make sense?

Not a stupid question at all =3= Sometimes I forget that phrases or sayings aren't universal.

The Decepticon dialect. Translates to: Whats my name. I like how you use cross hatching to create shadows, Give's the drawing a three dimensional look despite the fact that it's a pen drawing.

Eeeeeey you got it! Kudos to you!

Thank you so much! I didn't actually start cross hatching my pieces till about a week into inktober, but man it really does add a lot of dimension to the piece. Working in pen has really forced me to think about my light-source and my shadows, I'm hoping I've made some improvement over the month and it will translate into my normal coloured pieces.

It's very effective, I like that style. Any practice with a different technique or style is good, It broadens ones skills and it does have the capacity to improve other skills one has developed ^.^
