Fenris is certainly loveable, even if you are playing a Mage Hawke.
And he's also very useful on the battlefield too. Though my typical party choice usually consists of Aveline, Isabella and Anders.
Despite my differences with him about mages, and my pretty-much set choice in party members, Fenris is pretty high on my list of favorite Dragon Age Allies, even just sticking to DA2.
I think I may redo my Female Hawke Profile and this time have her romance Fenris.
As for a comment on the artwork itself, I get this feeling that this Picture would be something a Painter in a Medieval World would make for someone so they could have a Keepsake of Fenris. That honestly helps with his look. Kudos.

I didn't know about Fenris, but I was googling for images of white-haired elf guys. I came across your handsome image then it led to watch his story in Youtube.Β At first, an elf with short hair seemed weird, but after a while I could appreciate his marked individuality.Β Β IΒ eventually fell in love with this wonderful character.Β I had never thought I would be genuinely heartbroken for a game character.Β So, thank you so much.
Actually, for the game it is more of the voice actor Gideon Emery and his character and slave background story written by David Gaider than his game image. Your Fenris looks younger and doesn't look like a slave but I like your portrait of him.

I have a question though, how did you make the details in the armor? it looks absolutely amazing.

If I had to guess I would say that the details were made my alternating between different sized brushes and slightly different colors used to make it look like it's actually real. But that's just me opinion
