Hey Guys, Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New years !
I was planning to finish this off in December but Stuff came up >.< I wanted to paint something sad, yet happy at the same time.
I often see homeless folks on my way to work, and it pains to see them some times, especially when it’s so cold out. Sometimes I would give them my lunch because I don’t have change and it’s better knowing they will not be hungry for a while. Sometimes I see homeless folks with their pets too >.< I paint this because I’d like to think that the homeless can be just as happy as the people who has a home, or at least for some ;w; Lets not forget them during the hard times…

This reminds me of a time my mother took a homeless couple in. It was kind of scary especially when the couple fought, but in the end, they were able to get jobs and move out.

The collar around her neck just makes this more emotinal and sad but in the end you've created a master piece

Can you try Game Of Thrones Charatcers in anime form? I saw the grey dress picture and the spikes reminded me of the throne in king's landing. i'd like to see how you'd draw the characters ^-^

This is a great piece of art. On the one hand it's beautifully done, including amazing characters, on the other hand though the situation these three characters find themselves in is just sad.
Here in Germany though there are often "begging gangs" on the streets - many of the beggers only want to take money, but not food or the likes. This pains me, because people, who have - for whatever reason - lost everything, would take any kind of help, wouldn't they? I know I would.
Another thought that comes to my mind: I find it amusing how people consider themselves so advanced, yet they allow others to be homeless and basically force them into situations like this. Honestly: how advanced are we if we allow others to suffer this much?
It really is a bitter-sweet composition. Great work. I really wish mankind wasn't so forced into the capitalistic system as much as they are, though I do not know of any other working system, which would be better. I like how this masterpiece forces the viewer to think, yet at the same time presents him/her with lines and shapes, that would require tremendous knowledge and practice to be drawn the way they are. I have seen a lot of artwork in the past decades - along with artwork from Picasso and many other famous artists. It's just that I prefer to see images that require a master to be drawn AND images, which carry a subtle, but inignorable messages - such as this one! Thank you!

the detailed and subtle expressions and the hint of fantasy just tells a lot of the place and the story through this! It's just very lovely and beautiful! kinda bitter sweet, if you you overthink everything like I do X'D

(We have a bridge near our school that we drive under when we're getting to and from the high school. There used to always be a man with a sign, asking for change because he was a homeless veteran. That week we had a contest in Spanish to see who could guess a star's name after reading clues in Spanish and translating them. I worked so hard and won a huge bag of Twizzlers so I could give them to him, but when we went to check he wasn't anywhere in sight. I ended up sharing with two classes, which made me feel somewhat better. I still wish I could have helped him. Wonderful art!)

This is such a beautiful thing to get out there, especially in the form of a painting. People need to know that there's always something we can do to help the homeless, even if it doesn't mean giving money.

If my home was big enough I would take them in. The government can stretch itself so far, so these people rely on the charity of others. If I had a Star Gate I would take to better worlds where they could start again. Pets included!

Looks like an interesting blend of Fantasy and an RPG or MMORPG that I would like to play.
Btw. I remember now but this picture is so powerful I stared at it for minutes and once had a dream about a scene like that.
Probably because I stared at it and tried to imagine the scene very curiously. Was kinda cool.
Im doing "lucid dreaming" practixing and so im often in the dream as I am in reality but of course im not a high level master and im never fully aware.

Before it could continue further somehow the scene slowed down intensely and then I was up before it speeded up again.
And thats the goal, people: Becomming so lucid, just do everything you can and want in the dreams.

Who the heck would throw them out. Super Adorable Red Head Elf Girl with a pet Dragon. With those big blue eyes. It breaks my heart.
Then again, one does not know how they came to be in this situation. First, was it the dragon that made them homeless. I mean if not properly trained. YOu are just asking to burn your house and everything you own down. Also what is with the color around her neck? Very suspicious. Not to mention those teeth. They seem... pointy. Almost... vampire.
I like to think that they are escaped slaves. Probably from a new master who acquired them from a master that treated them good. One that gave her a reason to smile. Probably an older master who actually passed away and the new master was a son or nephew. Spoiled and bitter. Only after a couple months I am sure there lives became hell to them. So the became bold and escaped with the help of there scaly friend. During the escape. The silver haired one was cut alone their face (don't know gender) while protecting the little one. In the struggle they accidentally killed the master. They grabbed what they could and ran and have been running since.
Our little adorable elf tries to keep positive. Always believing things could be worse and holding hope that one day they will find a happy home. This is all well and good but our silver haired friend knows the world is not that kind. As they eye the stranger approching if they will they will have to fight to stay free. Cautiously, slowly reaching for a hidden dagger under them. They won't go back. They will never go back to that life. Even if it means a life of cardboard covers.
