I bought this wand knowing that the lights worked, but the sounds didn't. I figured that most likely, if the lights worked then the sound was probably just disconnected some how. I got the wand and took it apart (quite a process!). My boss tested the wires to the speaker and we discovered the speaker was dead. So I attached a new one and TADA! The sound works just fine!
The speaker I have is 3mm too large (at 29mm) so I got a smaller one (20mm). So it put that in and now I have a perfectly working wand for cheap cheap cheap! It's in great condition!

* I "paid" $70 for this wand and it was supposed to have $18 shipping. But when I got the wand, the shipping on it was $35. So I figure I only paid $53 for the wand!

It might be as simple as replacing the bulb and speaker but it also could be totally fried

I just bought mine and the screws are stripped and the sound doesn't work..... I paid 250. Any suggestion to how or where to get it fixed?? I would really appreciate it if you could help me :,(

If you can pry out or drill out the screws, you might be able to replace the speaker.

Really because I've had my wand for three years now and the sound stopped working. The person I had asked to fix it had simply removed the speaker because the light pattern was not working with it. It's a 2001 China edition. It looks like yours but like a pink purple kind of color with the switch on the back. Can you help fix it? It doesn't matter to me how long it takes.

I think the one with the switch is the World edition, but I'm not totally sure about that. If the light doesn't light up but the other lights work then it's probably just a bulb out?

Do you by any chance know where you recieved your speaker? Mine barely started getting some gurgling sounds from it. I've tried six pairs of AA batteries and it's really weird because from all of them it's the same. So you think it's the speaker? I'm fricken terrified!

I'm currently in the works of buying an Eternal Sailor Moon alarm clock. She's supposed to play the theme song and say 'Good morning' but the seller says that doesn't work. Since the clock works, I assume the alarm portion is similar to your wand.
I'm hoping I can find a way to get to the speaker inside the clock and see if I can make it work
