I must say that at first I seriously dreaded to start this commission~
Since the character has this hairstyle and I had never drawn something like this before!
I wasn't sure if I could do it~
I mean I always draw thos long haired bishies so shorthaired, and half-bald guys are the total opposite of it! XD
Oh and he's tan! Another first for me!

Hun it's mechanical pencil~ °3°
Well...just for you:
first I draw a rough sketch with 0.5 pencil on a A4 paper that looks like that: [link]
But because it is pretty "dirty" I want a more clean lineart so~
I scan it and print it on a paper that's two times as big as the initial one *A3 size now*
then I trace *with a light-table* the printed lineart on a A3 paper, and finally go over it with a 0.3 Pencil, in order to make the lines look more sharp and bold in some places like the horns~
The final stage is just to scan it and adjust the levels a bit in Photoshop in order to remove the last traces of "dirty lineart"
[A4 paper is the standard print paper size, and A3 is when you put two such papers next to each other~ The only way to scan such a big paper with a standard scanner is to scan each half of it and then combine it in photoshop~
Just saying because many people ask me that .-.]
So...there's nothing special to it~ You'll only need thin mechanic pencils, scanner, printer, lighttable, and then lots of patience since all in all I drew the same lineart 3 times XD

Yeah it's actually a lot of trouble....takes me ~two hours to draw the rough sketch, then one hour to trace the whole thing on this huge paper, and then another two hours to go over the traced lines and make them sharp and darker
