An illustration that I finished after a long long while o)-) But aaaah I really like this boy!!!
Some of you might remember him, since I've drawn him before °3° re:

I still have not caught up with Shadowbringers so working on this has been such a tease and challenge and temptation to jump back in the game T7T9
Last time I had to design E'trahm's sineater version, so this time, it was really fun implementing it in an illustration!
I tried not to spoil myself too much when looking up images on how the sineaters are being created (???). I also wanted to draw something relevant for the BG so I landed on the Mt Gulg raid and it was really fun: I was skipping through the youtube video with my eyes half closed, hoping that'd stop any spoilers XD

From wriven's description of E'trahm, he became a Sineat with "Forgiven Forbearance" as his greatest sin. Selfless to a fault, E'trahm always puts others before himself, often to the point of exhaustion and injury. He succumbs to the light of contamination, wishing to protect his family and friends from himself Q3Q
Admitedly, I do not understand much regarding the sineater's concept since I AM TRYING TO AVOID SPOILERS 8'D As such, I mainly focused on the concept of "suffering under the light" for this illustration and tried not to ask too many questions //though my goodness my curiosity is still super peaked AND I WANT TO PLAY FFXIV TO FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON HELP
