Vael is one of the 8 main characters in my story~ When Shinkami is 20 and Lerato 21, Vael is 16 years old *he's the youngest of them all v///u///v *
Vael and his twin sister had Exanimia when they were little. His sister died but once her soul left her body, she instantly possessed her brother's body. Because they were twins, they didn't mutate into a monster like what usually happens when a soul possesses a foreign body. Luckily Vael survived that fusion. His sickness was cured, and the only evidence he ever had it is his rune-shaped pupils.
His Anima is a Morpho (Aphrodite) Butterfly, but since he shares his body with his twin sister, he has her Anima as well, which is a bat. Vael loves pink and butterfly-winged accessories *the zippers and the earring .v.* He occasionally presents GID (gender identity disorder) because of his sister's soul inside him, making him unconsciously refer to himself as a girl. The twins have frequent conversations, but to other people it looks like Vael is talking to himself omg
His element is Lightning and his weapon is a versatile butterfly-wing shaped bow-throwblade-whip *IT'S A WEIRD, IDENTITY CONFUSED WEAPON YAY*

"Morpho" is a genus of butterflies with big, mostly blue-black, wings. "Morpho" is an epithet for the goddess Aphrodite/Venus, and it also means "to take shape" or "change/give shape" in Greek.
