I'm not perfect, but that's all right,I'm not trying to be.
I'm not good, I admit that,
but take only three steps outside and you find ten worse.
I'm definetely not an angel,
but it would be exaggerated to call me a demon.
I'm a creature of the night and the shadows,
but I fear no light.
My hands can hurt and destroy,
but they also know how to heal and mend.
I live and let live
but if you don't, I can also kill.
I don't seek for trouble, but if the trouble seeks me,
I'll make it regret that it ever found me.
I want to live free
or die fighting for it.
So who am I?
I am the fish that swims upstream.
I'm an outlaw with conscience.
I am the nice bad guy.

This is really good. It's like someone writing a letter to someone needing to get something off their chest, or as if they're doing a personal commentary 
"I live and let live
but if you don't, I can also kill"
That lines packs quite a punch and when I read it I thought "Oh Damn"

now coming to your poem, it's fantastic,
truly praise worthy. your poem is the voice of a common man. all my life i wanted to explain the same thing to masses but i couldn't.
