Description
This little bird (Probably a juvenile or female robin of some description) brained itself on our window with a loud 'THUNK'. The little thing was lying there, we thought it was dead but then we picked it up and it was still breathing. Its eyes closed, it just lay there.We thought it might die, but about an hour later it jumped up and started standing with its eyes open. It just stood there for several minutes, posing for my camera while i snapped away. Then all of a sudden it flew away off into the oak tree.

Why are it's little toes curled like that? Especially the toes to the left.

Yes. I like happy endings as well. We had that at the place where I grew up. Tree was too close to the house and from time to time, one of the little ones would fly into the window.

It's not a robins juvenil.I don't know its species,but I think that it's an adult.0_oIt looks like a female of one of the australian flycatchers.

A little bird flew against our window aswell, like 4 years ago I think.
It just lied there, so I told my mum, and my neighbour heard it aswell.
He got me a box, so I could put the birdie in and I also put some stuffing in the box and put the birdie on it to rest. Then it opened it eyes again, and flew away.
I didn't really pay attention to birds or anything, as in liking them or something. But actually birds are one of the cutest animals. Their feathers are soft, and look at this picture for example; just fascinating. :3

I think this is a young male, females are usually just brown. The males start out pale and get richer in colour. Great shot!
