I love the contrast and composition you put here, both Sonic and Shadow seem in character and fit the mood of this picture with their expressions.
I like to think if the colors were a little brighter it would have shown better, or if the sunflower petals were just a bit brighter at least, but it might just be me. Nevertheless, the calm colors you picked are really nice and calming. Good job!

There's something I just love about this picture... The contrast between the sun flowers and the sky, the nice shades of green you picked for the leaves, the fluffy clouds... *sigh* Reminds me of my childhood. I used to grow sunflowers all the time.

Truly a unique piece of art. I've seen Shadow with roses before, but never sunflowers. The contrast seems a bit unfitting, IMO. Like it's dark, but in an odd way. Ah, well. I'm an idiot, what do I know? x3

you need more improvisation and development in the traits of Shadow and be careful with the sizes of sunflowers...

I'm suppose to have tree like sun flowers growing in my yard. Surprisingly they haven't bloom yet.
Makes me wonder what Shadow is looking for, or just bewilder by all those giant plants. Sonic appears inquisitive by the scent. Heh!

A continued display of strong work and how you have explored some creative ideas with the scene you've used. Within the watercoloured approach it feels fitting and energtic though a little dull in areas it brings a nice sense of calmness to the work. It's easy to see that you have a simple, but effective style of drawing and your own adapted style of sonic and shadow haolds a dear amount of charm.
What really is the strong poing is the excellent amount of tonal work you applied both within the foreground and background here. The majority of brush work and detail gone into the sunflowers and skyline is excellently portrayed and you know just what to look for as an artist to really make everything feel so alive.
