Elena let her head drop to her desk in frustration. She had hoped that she was going to leave the high demanding schooling behind in Russia but it did not seem so, darn Paddington and her homework load. She turned and looked at the piece of paper taped to her wall and laughed. Stupid Aliah and his funny doodles. The picture seemed to give her some more energy so she pumped herself up for another long night of studying and lifted her head. Blat, the pen was stuck to her head. It was going to be another really, really, really long night.
