Here's a sketch for for our art trade ^-^ Yes, I know you guys are wondering how I produced something that looks so much better than all my CGs combined... the truth is, all my sketches are actually pretty good and this one is just okay compared to some of my others XD; Depending on how people like this, I'll consider posting my other sketches ^-^ANYWAYS, I found this outfit SOOO adorable, and I'm a sucker for catboys xD; So I drew him for her <3 I got the outfit a little wrong because it was from memory, but there's no way I'm changing it now XD;

Done with .07 mechanical pencil on paper in about an hour or less, color added in Photoshop. ^-^

Yeah, it IS better than some of your CGs. For me, it's usually the opposite... my sketches are usually really ugly (most of the time I have to destroy it cuz it doesn't deserve to exist!), while my CG's are nice, probably cuz I spend so much more time on them!

I get my CGs from sketches, and working with a mouse, they don't come out... perfectly D: So as a result, the sketch always looks better *shrug* I guess for now I'll upload more sketches ^-^ I have bazillions

Yeah. I have QUITE an idea of how much you love it XD; I think copying and pasting all those icons took you more time than it took me to draw the picture OwO;;

Sketches aren't necessarily always unfinished. This picture isn't unfinished, [link] isn't unfinished, [link] isn't either x3;

XD ha ha lol its so true! In fact I was scared of drawing up a side view picture, because I thought it was going to look like crap. But after coloring it and drawing it I liked it so much its my featured now! XD

I don't doodle on lined paper much anymore though OwO; When I do, they're probably doodling on notes I'm passing to friends and they're intended to suck D: I have a drawing binder I carry around with me that has all my art in it and a bunch of blank paper. If I'm ever in the mood to draw, I always take out those papers 'cause normally my doodles turn into something good XD; Unlined paper... motivates me or something LOL

Not exactly XD; In my opinion, it actually makes the lines better and cleaner O_O;
What you do is, go to the channels menu when you have your picture open. Throw away the red channel, then throw away your magenta channel. Tada! Lines removed, looks great as ever. Then, copy+paste the whole thing into a new document that's on RGB color and there you go! ^_^
