Description
This is an artwork of Shion from Lied Der Romanze.Second time using water coloring. It took me about 2 hours to complete the whole illustration.
The hardest part to color is the moon. I have to get the right color mixture and the shadow part of the moon.
I'm totally pleased with the whole picture. ^v^

Before coloring the moon. i refered to many pics of moon.

This looks fantastic. I love the warm, soft feeling this gives. They way he's holding the violin is perfect, especally the hand on the neck. The background is nice, too. I love the colour of the blues.

Wow, you know, I was actually trying to do almost the same thing, I want to color a girl with a violin just right now and I was browsing traditional art (I have no idea of how to paint with watercolors).
I think you did a great job!

I'm not really good at water coloring too at first lol~ But with the guidance of my mother( she's good at art), i've learnt the technique! At first, of cause its quite difficult for me. As there're many things to be careful of>>
1. The amount of water being used
2. The matching of colors
3. The shadows ( you must wait until a certain time maybe few seconds) to color the part of the shadow.
4. Brush stroke
*Practice makes perfect, so keep practising till you reach your satisfaction.
