OMG XDD

I haven't been able to get very many Mega Man comics since Archie started doing them *emo corner*, but my brother made sure to bring me the issue where they crossover with Sonic! I almost missed it, I can't believe it! I would have cried for weeks @m@;; //LOL//

But yeah, I also haven't gotten to read much of the MegaMan comic cuz I keep getting depressed when I read it. Cuz.. okay, you guys know how I'm such a nit-pick about my own comics? I KEEP SEEING ERRORS IN THEIRS... like, not the story (because I haven't seen most of it lol), but the art... TEH ARTZ, MAHHHHNNNNN--!!!!

And when I saw "Shadow Man"... I was just like "WTF?" XD I will admit, when you draw something, you see in more depth what it is, and it isn't as ridiculous as I was originally thinking it was, but... still... //I just realized I misspelled ridiculous in the picture xD The computer correcte my spelling while typing lol//
My first thought was "They're trying too hard... to make him look all MegaMan-y..." and the white part on his face.. just... WTF? LOL
Also, don't they know there's already a "Shadow Man"? xD That's gotta be confusing lol

Anyway, I like how this picture came out. As you can see, I got lazy and made a random SFX background lol. I'm thinking about sending this to Archie, cuz, while I do keep finding myself to be too cynical about the comics, I'm really excited about this crossover xD Ah, I think this may be my official style for a while.. at least for colored stuff lol. //my style changes too randomly lol//

But I'mma go ahead and nit-pick a few more things xD

Why are Wily and Robotnick so similar? Like, why do they get along so well? And when they fight about the name of something, they get over it easily enough... It feels odd, somehow...
Is Bass actually obedient in this series? Or is he just a little more obedient than he normally is? xD //I'm pretty sure he doesn't normally take orders from Wily often lol//
Okay, I know CopyMan is from the remake of the original game (I'm pretty sure, anyway?), but wasn't Bass supposed to be the "evil Megaman"? He was designed based off him and all. But, I guess he isn't really "evil", he's an anti-hero xD Or is he, in the comic? O.o I found out I could order all the issues I missed, and I plan on doing that soon and going on a comic-reading binge.
When I first saw "Tails Man", I was like "WTF, TAILS MAN?! Why not just bring in the Tails Doll?" until I realized it was Tails, Roboticized, and I was like "oh, okay. ... HE'S SO CUTE!!! XDD" LOL

Also, doesn't it seem odd that the Sonic Universe cover is more video-game-esque? I mean, I know Sonic is a videogame, but just the style of it seems more "MegaMan" to me.
And on the MegaMan cover.. WHY THE FUCK IS MEGAMAN'S HALF ALL WHITED-OUT?! I mean, seriously, it's like he's hiding in a fog or something!! And then they have that "20 years of Sonic Comics" logo thing on Megaman's side, and I'm just sitting there thinking, "What, did the covers get swapped or something?!"
EDIT: My brother informed me it was like that because it was a variant cover =w= lol. The other variant was with Sonic all whited-out, and the normal was them both... normal. lol.

I just noticed that the MegaMan side says "Part One", while the Sonic side says "Part Two".
But they're running in separate comics, so aren't they both "Part One"?
Or is that a common gimmick in comic book companies to have one comic have half the parts and the other comic have the other half?

LOL, but anyway, I really am hyped about this. I mean, c'mon, it's gonna be 12 issues! It's GOTTA be freaking epic! Though, if they're doing all this stuff so soon, what are they going to do mid-way through the arc...? Hm...
Aha, this is getting me excited. This, plus the Bakuman I finally got to read also, I'm all hiped up and ready to go all workaholic mode xDD
Though I need to find a place to hide when people won't leave me alone long enough to make anything....
