i like this a lot. In English right now, we're reading The Awakening and the lyrics remind me of it a lot. I'm pretty sure at one piont in the book, it actually talks about the sea embracing...
and i like your use of grays and reds. Those are the opposite colors i think of, when i think about the sea, not blues and greens. very interesting.

Red and black is the character's color. He's actually very much unlike the ocean, which is why he envies it.
