Description

A little birdy on his shoulder told Fredek that sneaking out of camp was something done by many apprentices even before his time and it has become sort of a tradition to at least break some of the rules. He would have chickened out of it hadn't been from some encouragement from his sister Lupa. In the middle of the day both of the apprentices snuck out of the camp while the adults were busy and decided to go on an explorative walk around the lightning empire itself. They stopped on a grassy stretch of land, where Lupa decided to braid some flowers into her brothers mane. Fredek enjoyed the gesture, especially since it's been a bit of a tough time. It's been almost a year since the two siblings lost their family...
Fredek has had a tougher time fitting in with the crowd than here sister and when the subject of their future came up. Fredek admitted that he sort of felt Inadequate to become a gladiator. His sister looked him straight in the eyes and told him "You are overthinking. If you don't think you're ready, that's one thing, but there's no such thing as being 'inadequate'. Theres always time to get better and stronger, especially for you."
Those were nice words that He certainly needed to hear
