Description A Bananeira Caiu
A Palma de Bimba
Abalou, capoeira, abalou
A canoa virou marinheiro
Adão, Adão
Adeus, Adeus
Adeus Santo Amaro
Ai Ai Aide
Ai Ai Ai Ai (Sao Bento me Chama)
Ai Ai Ai Ai, Doutor
Ai meu tempo
Angola ee Angola e Angola
Angola ê, Angolá, Angola ê mandiguera, Angolá
Aue Aue Aue
Avisa Meu Mano

can ANYBODY tell me what that all means? I've started practicing Capoeira, and I'm in Dusti's class, and the Mestre(Dusti, of course), starts singing that out loud to the beat of some drums and maracas. It's actually kinda catchy, in my opinion.

Yeah, and here's another song I find catchy:

Guess who's back,
Back again,
Shady's back,
Tell a friend

This is just to signify that I'm back. Remember Ninja Riyu? Yeah, I forgot my password. Of all things. Then I forgot my email. Of all things. So, I had to make a new DeviantART account, but the thing was, my new email account wasn't receiving the verification letters, so I kept trying and trying and trying, I finally ended up with THREE NEW EMAIL ADDRESSES, and still nothing.

So I ended up with about twenty verification notices when I checked my mail today.

Oy... kak raz oobyeytye myenya tyepyerj...

and that means just kill me now. In case you were wondering.

Ummm...it all relates to the slaves and Angola. I think you're going to have to look up the history behind capoeira, the significance of Angola to capoeira, and maybe some Porteguese. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I don't know much myself.
