Her dream had been amazing, the stud she dreamt of was definitely a looker, and ended up in her head as her dream partner. Lost in her thoughts, Anastasia was not paying attention to where she placed her hooves.

The ground shuddered, and opened wide, freaking out the poor lass as she fell a decent distance to hard packed sand. It was darker down here than she would've thought, the light reverberating off of some thicker pieces of shimmery sand. Battered and bruised, Ana spent some time tending to herself, it wasn't bad, and by the time she was finished she was able to stand easily and with no tenderness.

Though now she wasn't alone, above her she could hear hoofbeats, they sounded heavier than normal desert horses, and when they peeked their long heads over she saw why. Humans... a pair of humans had found her vulnerable in a sinkhole, one held a bunch of gathered rope in their arms, and wrapped it around one of the horses saddle horns. The other came down beside Anastasia, moving slowly and testing her boundaries. The mare snorted and snapped at the man, if he wasn't wearing a helmet he might've gained a new scar.

A while later, and with some thrashing on Ana's part, she was strapped up and being pulled to the surface of the sinkhole. Once at the top and free, Ana attempted an escape, only to find a new rope flung over her head and settling on her withers. A quick look back told her all she needed to know, looked like she was headed where the humans were headed. The silver grullo knew she was pretty, but she didn't realize that even the humans would think so. With a head hung low and ears back, she trudged after the pair of researchers on horseback.
