Apparently I'm on a roll today! Two whole arts in one day. Here is (Militaryverse? Warriorverse? No-Jealousyverse? pffft something) Applehorse featuring appaloosa patterning!
I blame her freckles. I mean, horses don't have freckles so the only way to keep them in is appaloosa (or very symmetrical birdcatcher spots, but that's just not dramatic enough). Went for frost appaloosa specifically.

AJ in this unnamed 'verse is a bit different from her canon counterpart. For one, her mother is still around and running the farm. So AJ has a much more laid-back attitude, is a little less responsible, takes a bit more time off working and such. Still, no Pa has survived in this AU so she's still got that over-protective streak/issues about that. Also, she doesn't wear a hat! *gasp* She has a bunch of bandanas in various colours but the green one is her favourite because Twilight gave it to her and I'm Twijack trash rip.

Fun fact: Applejack's freckles, when colourpicked from show screenshots, are actually a very pale cyan.
