This is just one of a large batch of concept images based upon the 60's book / film DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS. Only taking it in a new direction, epic and viceral. Twisting mutated plants and human bodies intertwined..These concept roughs take about 2 hours to compose, fairly rough , adobe photoshop.

Day of the TriffidsI recently read the original novel (1951) by John Wyndham.
A great and creepy read and much more scary than the low budget movie.
(although the movie is still a lot if fun!)

If only the BBC Triffid design and John Wyndhams original design, was this one you have done, it is still a very good book and series but, seriously, I hope they redo it and use your design....
