I agree, I was very disappointed my Oz: The Great and Powerful. They are planning a movie for Wicked, though, so lets hope that ends up better then OTGAP. (I'm hoping it's gonna be based off the musical and not the book)

Ya, I hated the Wizard even more after watching OTGAP.
I'm guessing they're gonna try and base the Wicked movie off the musical because it's so popular and they want all the fans, including the kid fans, to be able to watch it and enjoy it just as much as the musical. The idea for the movie came before the musical, but I'm sure they'll change the plans now that the musical's out. Plus, I doubt they'd wanna leave out all that amazing music!

I saw Wicked just over a week ago now and *_* It was one of the best things I've ever seen, needless to say I went out and bought the soundtrack and listened to it on repeat! ^^
