Something I made for my girl SaL (a real person, not Sally Acorn, in case you were confused). Me and her are pretty big Sonally fans. For me, it's one of the reasons I stayed reading the comics for as long as I did. I'm kind of a huge softy at heart...a hopeless romantic for sure. Some may be shocked to learn, that I'm a real sucker for this kind of stuff! Anyway, this is something I have always wanted to see happen, so I made it happen! Wasn't going to post this...it was a gift for SaL, but we both thought it was to beautiful to just keep to ourselves, so we decided to share it.This isn't my usual style, but I've been trying to design a much cuter version of Sally then I normally do and this was the result.
I thought it would be a pretty good first post on Deviantart. I know there's a lot of Sonally fans here.

So cute. I have been a Sonally fan since Issue 0 (for real, got it off the rack at a Walden Books). And you just described the same reason I stuck with the comic when the art and writing were terrible and the plot was directionless. The idea of seeing them together kept me coming back. Heck I would take the extended edition of issue 50 with me on trips just because I loved the scene where Sally comes back and Sonic kisses her. So cool pic, and the smart ass in me wants to yell "Do it, that way mighty Ares will look more favorably upon your couplings." I miss Captain Murphy.
