... however, the Medic was never the same again. Sure other new Heavies came and went, but the shattered memory of his one true friend would remain carved in his most deep thoughts; how to forget that dreadful day, the day the solemn German's ears were pierced with the desesperate call of his Russian comrade. He couldn't ran to the aid but 'til the third call- was busy healing a scout who lost his leg. "Ze can wait, ze is strong." he repeated to himself, while the echoes of the brute faded in his head. His Ubercharge was ready, it was time- time to attend the call...
He ran towards him, despite the screaming of his near teammates who also required assistance. As the silence grew at every step of his sprint an eerie feeling flooded his heart. "Hang in there..."
He reached the place. Sasha was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. It was too late, and the scene... just horrifying.
All that was left after the last call was chunks of meat spread all over the ground, while the severed head of his partner was lying right under his shocked gaze.
Verzeihen Sie mir... mein freud.
