Description

GROWING UP/TRAINING
Link and his sister Tilina grew up as children of a noble family, those who were high standing in society and commonly had business that brought them to the palace where the two had met the princess on occasion, and while not royalty Link and Zelda had been betrothed since they were young so the two spent a lot of time together, the Late queen having felt a fragment of the Hero's Spirit within him and deciding to strengthen the ties binding the Chosen Hero and the Goddess Reborn.

Once Link was older he joined the ranks of the Hylian Knights, following his father's footsteps. During the training he saw Zelda in his free time and met a number of individuals who lived outside of the noble circle of his previous acquaintances. When given time away from training Link would spend time at home and sometimes if Tilina pestered enough he'd show some of what he learned during his training.

WAR OF ERAS
At the start of the War Zelda had gifted Link the tunic from the previous hero, which had been restored and protected within the Royal Family for generations. At the start Link followed the orders of his commanding officer but as the war continued and he gained greater experience Link was promoted and given his own group of knights to lead, many of them were men that he trained with and had earned the respect of through years of working together.

During the War they fought only knowing of the impending threat of Ganon being released though were unaware of the The Seer's corruption/involvement or the split between her soul, providing them an ally who understands The Seer.

FOLLOWING THE WAR
Following the War, Link continues working with the knights, now helping with training new recruits. Link also takes his group from the war out to Hyrule's wilderness and fields to continue clearing monsters to keep Hyrule safe.

The third outfit shown is formal attire for celebrations at the palace, though Link doesn't quite care for the blue overcoat and most times feels its restrictive.
