Making a photo black and white can add emotion and capture the essence of something better then color photos can sometimes, so I'm a big fan of it. I'd say you did an excellent job of doing that in this shot.

I'm not saying that I don't like B&W pictures, I'm juste saying that this process has been spoiled because it's over-used nowadays, and in a wrong way.
That's why I used the term "way out".

Even thought b&w isn't your thing, this probably were anyways the best choice.. I'm not a fan either of b&w for some reason.. But I cannot imagine this being a color shot.. Really nice one.

nice shot , this photo suits black and white , you dont have the colors so the shapes and lines are the focal making this photo more interesting
