Page 37 of Beta has always been one of my favorites of the series - and I'd said I wanted to try the style again, so here it is.Since I did the canonical cast, here are the Beta Set - including 15 and 18 - in that weird, loose style done in ink, ala 6.
Left to right - 13, 11, 14, 12, 16, 15, 17, 18.
13 came out the best BY FAR.
The ink splatters I did myself as well - and yes they are significant as to where they are placed.

Wow! these are awesome! I love how their personality come out in how the lines are draw, weather it be curvy or straight. My favorites would have to be 13 and 14.

I think you have really captured 6's gothic-art style, still giving it that cute, quaint charm. I love how each character's mannerisms and attitude are captured in the shapes and posing.
I was acctually hoping that you'd draw some more pictures like this, I fell in love with p37 when I saw the THUMBNAIL.
And what I'm guessing is that the ink splatters represent where 15 and 18 were hit, when killed, which I think was acctually an awesome touch.

This is going to be hard, but I will try to voice my feelings anyway: This deserves at least a try.
We have seen how 6's style of drawing looks in the movie :very raw, simple and uncontrolled. When you do it, it holds the same style - but the feeling that comes out of it is different from that of 6. I can feel the control in the ink, the subtle touches of color in the right places and the secret personality's of the characters creeping out of their black lines. 11's finger and her grin matches her punk, 17's pose her control and strength and 14's colors her happy yet important position (yellow: Attention, Notice. 'Here I am, I will help you.')
If you will try out more with this style - in the comic or outside - and show it to us, than I would be very, VERY, grateful to you.

I've always loved your way of portraying 6's style of drawing. So to see that style done here makes me RIDICULOUSLY happy.
I don't even know where to start. The use of the lines combined with the enhancing of distinguishing features really gets across the varying personalities and presence of the characters. 14 and 11 being very flowing, for instance, then compared to the sharper shapes of 13 and 16, or the awkward bends of 12, or the harsher lines of 17. The ink spatters caught me off guard, especially seeing how content 15 looks, and how kind 18 appears, and knowing the little we do about their personalities. Oof.
I hope to see more work in this style, in the comic or outside. It's REALLY awesome.

I'm quite happy to see you playing with this style again. That section of Beta was a personal favorite for me as well, I just loved the very tribal, sharp feel of the characters. 13's works quite well because she is already a rather ghastly sight to behold; seeing her like this only enhances that creepiness. I especially like her right hand, it just really struck me how you drew the fingers on it. Very skeletal and elegant, in a way.
I'm also quite fond of 11, 14, and 16's. I think it's awesome how these really seem to capture their essence as characters; 11 is very free-flowing and curvy, 16 a bit more rigid with harsher lines, details like that. Just makes these depictions work quite well.

ALL of em look awesome, my favs are 13,12 -of couse i wish i could have a charm of THAT squee face he has uguu- and i love 14 too, she looks very stylized and jsndfjsd i just love everyone, and the splatters are you know significant, afjnsjfnsd

This art form is both fun and really interesting to look at! 8D all the characters kinda depict how they are personality wise too (if im stating the obvious sorry) kinda like 11's grin or 17's grouchy look.
13 looks stunning in this form as well, i think it's her pelt that makes her so appealing, though i also really like how 18 looks in this, not to mention all the others look awesome (11's grin makes me snicker XD)
