Wow, that's a really great job you did with the prismas (and watercolours!)
Prismas are such a great medium, although I haven't played with mine in a while.

i loved the line drawing, but somewhere between the line work and now, it seems somewhat subdued in comparison. I'm reminded of an artist who did similar work, the only striking difference i can tell you is that they never used pencil on the finished peice. in fact, they used a burnt umber ink for the line work. it gave it a natural softness. something to think about anyways.

Hey, I read your journal entry about snobby artists on here. My hearts goes out to you on the subject and its nice to know that at least some people share my sentiments.
I think this picture is beautiful. The style is refreshing from a lot of the styles here on deviantart. Just so beautiful unique. The line quality is just superb. Color scheme was also, in my opinion, very thought out to the point where I look at this and just feel such a warm feeling coming from it. It's art like this that is ignored mostly because people just flock towards extremely popular artists and genres (realism, emotive photography, anime). I also love the mixed media of prisma and watercolor. It brings out such a clean effect.
The only true critique I can give is that even though its composition. It kind of bothers me. For example, I think you did the placed the main figure perfectly (especially the out of frame style. I love that style!), but the placement of the flowers and leaves seem kind of off, just a bit. Also it's also a little bit too big in full view. It's frustrating to have to scroll that much.
Its a little ridiculous that you don't have anymore favorites. So I'm going to add. Awesome job. You've made a fan of me.
