You are very talented. Your art is very expressive and complex.

Is this based from the Jeff Buckley song?

Hmm, not really, but I'm very interested in the song and try to find it on youtube! Thanks!

That's odd, because it fits it very well. It has the same sort of cold, tactile quality of a brick wall.

Oh, I found the video on youtube right away and thoroughly agree with you, I was amazed how well my picture suits the mood of it - and the music as well. I really liked the song and I'm rather astonished that I hadn't come across him before - pity he died so young.

All it's missing is Indiana Jones swinging from a rope.

I don't know why, but it makes me feel like I'm seeing the inside of a hollowed out tree. Love the colours and textures. A definite favourite.

Thank you very much, I tend to agree with you - it does look a bit like a hollow tree...

That's really cool, I love the color shift. I see screaming faces in the dark and two headed lizards and things suspended by spiderwebs hanging from nowhere and all-around bad energies. Kind of a nightmare world. I love this. Great work.

Aww, thanks. The working title of the thing was "scary". You are very observant.

Indeed, I always had that problem at art college. Its part of the skill in knowing when a work has been worked enough. But its beautiful! You can always keep developing it and produce a different version? That would be a learning experience in itself?

I was just thinking that the other day.
Times when you're dreaming you think it's real.
What about times it's real and you think you're dreaming?
I dreamt once that I was awake and then I woke up and realized I was dreaming. Then I went back to sleep and dreamed that I had just woke up.
It was all very confusing. I gave up trying to understand it and went back to bed.

furthermore salvamore: are you the one who likes Klimt? Sometimes your colors and textures remind me of his stuff. If you're not familar look him up.
There's at least one websited devoted to him.
Gustave Klimt: an austrian I believe.
Some one in your neighborhood.

either way it's fine.
Klimt had his own way and it was sensual, erotic and somwhat psychoemotional.....like suppressed desire
and ..........I'm not sue what.
But he used color and texture in a way that was unlike anyone else.
Anyway whenever I see anything that's similar to that it triggers certain things.....
t'sall
