Guybrush isn't a hero, he wants to be a pirate.

I wish I could forget ever playing these games so I can replay them as if it is for the very first time.

No Manney Calavera?

Salvini In reply to Oldskoolguitar [2014-01-15 09:00:11 +0000 UTC]

No, as you can see, all these characters are from games that used the SCUMM engine. Manny Calavera (as much as I love him) was in Grim Fandango, a game that used the GrimE engine. So he didn't fit amongst these others, since this was a tribute to the SCUMM era.

.......Zombies Ate My Neighbors was not a SCUMM game. > <
I know Lucasarts made ZAMN, but this only concerns point-n-click games, driven by the SCUMM engine.

I grew up with these games ( espacially Monkey Island, Fate of the Atlantis, DoD, Sam&Max and Full Throttle )
I play them a lot on DoSBox, no actual game can beat them ...

What about Manny Calaveras? He's one of the best ever!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Salvini In reply to Ferreson [2011-09-14 14:30:12 +0000 UTC]

Well, you see, good ol Manny didn't appear in a game that used the SCUMM engine.
Grim Fandango was made by Lucasarts, but it used the GrimE engine.
So that's why I didn't include Manny.

When theyΒ΄re doing a Full ThrottleΒ΄s movie?

Salvini In reply to Freya-Silvermoon [2010-04-05 00:16:42 +0000 UTC]

Sadly, never. But that would have been awesome. Mickey Rourke could have been Ben, since he sort of resembled him as Marv.

Mmm...
IΒ΄ll prefer an animation movie.
It will be cool. X3

Yeah, too bad it wont happen Grim Fandango would have made a great animated movie too!

I've only played Sam & Max, i don't know if you would remember, but doesn't the hero from the day of the tentacle look like the guy in Snuckey's in Sam & Max: Hit The Road?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Salvini In reply to kattipus [2010-01-30 17:49:53 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's him. Bernard had a cameo in "Sam & Max", he was all of the guys working at Snuckey's. Haha.
