Description
This is a painting of mine, representing the internal conflict, between the psycho sexual forces within, that urge one to grow, and yet make us aware and fearful of our impermanence and mortality. The means of creating peace between these forces, religion, though at first appearing as a key to our problems, becomes the very cage of confinement of the suffering self. All the while, the silent witness consciousness that the likes of Christ and the Buddha entered into, observes, and guides us towards liberation and freedom. Though we suffer, we are exactly where we need to be: divinely guided, protected, and inherently lovable and loved. Rejoice in your sexuality, it is the mind that demonizes it. And the Mind is but an illusion.
