After walking in silence for a couple of minutes the finally arrive to the entrance of the ter'angreal vault. Suddenly Rhuda sees something that makes her heart sink.

At the gate two women are standing in the faint light. The woman to the left was wearing the ordinary white wool dress that all novices in the tower was wearing. Rhuda recognized the girl as Mihja, a novice with quite a possiblity to be strong in the one power someday.

Mihja cried silently and tears went down her cheeks. Around her neck she wore the same sort of silvery collar that Rhuda now was wearing. A silver leash went from Mihja's collar to the bracelet on the other end of the leash. The bracelet were worn by a woman in a blue dress, the same sort of dress as the woman that were wearing the bracelet on the other end of Rhuda's leash.

One thing that made this woman look different was a large golden gleaming necklace that covered nearly the whole of her neck and shoulders. The necklace seemed to be made of silver and golden plates that had been sewn together in a pattern. It looked quite heavy and should weigh a couple of kilos.

The woman was smiling in a sinister looking way at the same time as she slowly caressed the bracelet on her right hand with the index finger of her left hand. She looked quite satisfied with her catch.
