I guess this means I'm going to have to get out there and start photographing some stuff again. I really, really need to get a camera. Using your mother's Canon Powershot isn't nearly as cool as it would be to have a Canon Rebel or something. It's sad, but I can't remember what you use. I looked on your pictures, and I know it was a Canon EOS. I don't remember the exact make though. Is that a good camera?

Yeah, it's pretty fun to play around with once you get the hang of it.
One of the awesome things about photography, in my opinion, is that you have so much creative room, and there are no set rules.
So "getting out there and photographing stuff" is the best part =]
I actually used my moms Powershot S3 IS for a few years. After that, I got my first slr, and it was a Canon EOS 10D.
But now, I've made a massive upgrade to the 40D, and oh yes, it's amazing =]
Although, I would advise saving a little more to get the 50D. I kick myself sometimes for not waiting for that! lol

Yeah. It looks like the 40D works pretty decently judging from what you've done with it. I've seen some great pictures from other artists that used 40D's too.
Yeah, photography is really cool. I mean, I really would like to be able to draw and everything, but photography is really rewarding. With drawing, you can slave over a picture for a huge amount of time, only to finish and find out it wasn't what you wanted. With photography, God paints the picture, it's just your job to capture it. Which is really cool.
Yeah, the whole saving-up process to get a new camera isn't going too well. Every time I start getting close to how much I need, I end up going out and buying stuff for my guitar or something. I'm bad at being careful with money.
