for the gold leaf i used the small gold leaf pieces that you can get instead of the sheets, and glued them down using just a simple glue stick.
it was really slow and frustrating but i think it kind of fits.

ouch, i had a friend that did that and it nearly killed him, the leaf went everywhere XD
ill have to try that sometime!
