I was thinking coffee, which can bring also amazing effects (parchment style), but you used tea and ink.

yes i did! for the ink i alternated between an eye dropper for the more concentrated/darker droplets and using small paintbrushes saturated with water. For the brushes with the diluted ink, I would pinch between thumb and pointer finger at the base of the brush and pull to the tip of the bristles.
For the tea splatters, I simply used a generic tea baggy that I had made tea with and used both techniques I mentioned above. (:

It is a complex process of geometric and chromatic composition. I donΒ΄t know how to explain it.
