Just a quick Halloween story I wrote to go along with my latest costume!
As the young man stared into the distortions of the funhouse mirror, his head became fuzzy. Though he thought he might faint, his body felt frozen in place. Two luminous eyes appeared to materialize from the reflection itself and soon transfixed his own gaze, as a spectral calliope supplied an eerie soundtrack to his predicament. Ethereal voices, almost indistinguishable from the music, began to whisper in his ears. Eventually, one voice became louder and more clear than the others, which all seemed to then dissipate into a cacophony of laughter and screams. This voice was that of a man – deep, devious, and deliberate. “You came seeking mischief, no doubt, and you have found him,” the voice seemed to gloat. “I insist that you stay with me for a spell. You shall make a sensuous addition to my funhouse indeed.” The young man, still totally unable to move, looked on in utter disbelief as his entire body began to transform itself, changing and morphing into that of a pretty young woman… though not quite in an average way. Long pink locks of hair fell from his scalp and lay across "her" lithe shoulders. A tight black costume dress almost mockingly hugged womanly curves before ending in a puff of thin fabric far above her knees. Intricate black tights now sheathed feminine legs, and a pair of black leather boots made her wobble slightly. Colorful bows and white lace seemed to accent everything. But only after seeing the freshly made-up face of this female reproduction of his former self, did he realize just what he had become… a rather fetching young clowngirl. “Yes my dear,” the voice boomed, “bask in your new form, for it is yours forever. You are a wicked harlequin created to tempt all men to enter this place; an unclean siren made to lure those men to a similar fate. And most certainly, they will want to know you well.” Although this statement would have caused the young man great revulsion, the new clowngirl only found herself becoming moist with anticipation. “You see, my funhouse extends far behind the bonds of this world, and with this form you may now explore all its carnal pleasures with me.” And with those words, the demon’s newest convert was destined to an eternity of servitude to her master…
