I can imagine. I've seen tons of Fan Character Renders/Models, and those seem really hard to make. Mainly because people give 'em crazy designs.

Yeah, they can get really complex! They're great for practice on more complex projects, though. I can really mess with proportions and designs with the Sonic characters, and I gain a lot of experience from it.

you can do it! I made, like.. 3 or 4 different Sonic models before I came up with one I liked-- and in between that, many, many other trial and error characters! It takes a lot of practice, but I've been doing 3D work since spring, and it's been going pretty well! I can give you pointers if you ever need 'em
