So the other day my roommates and I went to go see the premier of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And it was AWESOME! One of my favorite parts of the movie was these little critters. They were so beautiful to watch on screen. don't worry, no spoilers here! I watched a couple of videos on how they were made and the animatronics behind them and I was completely blown away. I have a few friends in the puppeteering business out in LA and so to see beautiful puppets like this is the coolest thing. On a side note, it's been pretty busy this past few weeks. Right around the start of December my cintiq companion of around 3 years died on me. my super expensive piece of equipment just gone DX. that was a rough night. Knowing I needed it for work I bought a new one, I knew I was going to need to soon anyway. After 3 years and surviving a few rough drops, my old tablet was due to retire. I got myself the new cintiq companion generation 3 and I couldn't be happier with it. It works flawlessly and is so much smoother to the touch. And it just looks way cooler with the chrome finishes! So i've been fixing up my tablet and reinstalling all my applications, programs, etc. Hence why it took a little bit of time to get a video out And of course the holidays! WalkingMelonsAAA and I just did our holiday sale a few weeks ago, and have been making sure they all arrived safely. And on top of that making sure all my personal holiday shopping got done for family and friends. Oh boy I am so excited for this Christmas. It's my first /real/ Christmas since I moved out nearly 4 years ago. Sure, there was always little family christmas things over the years, but there wasn't much heart to it. But this year I'm getting to spend it with my adopted family and friends, and I am SO excited. I got some pretty awesome gifts lined up for some peeps. (LOOKIN AT YOU MELONS -IF YOU SEE THIS- )
