older version of my recent work before I decided to change the background in the last minute

although I was going for a very dark and cool lighting on the colors, I went on a different direction with the background by going with a cool white color instead because goSH EVERYONE'S HAIR AND CLOTHES BLED THROUGH THE DARK BACKGROUND AND IT KINDA FRUSTRATES ME THAT I COULDNT FOLLOW THE LIGHTING THEORY AS A WHOLE WITHOUT THE KREW LOOKING CHOPPED OFF AT SOME PARTS IDK YOU FEEL THAT? LIKE THE FEEL OF THAT ARTIST FEEL WHEN YOU FAIL TO CONTRAST NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE SPACE IN A NATURALISTIC PIECE GOSH

so yeah... just wanted to share this part of the process here on my dA because I know you guys will understand more than the tumblr people because generally everyone here draws and would have or will hear concepts about light and color theory and you know that's a thing a part of the tumblr community couldnt grasp with this work because that part of the community is a bunch of whiney non-artist babies... no offense tho but yeah..
