Well, a beautiful girl like herself had to weigh her options rather quickly, factoring in such things as "Time Spent", "Resources Wasted", and "Will This Get My Outfit Dirty?". There were really only 2 options:
1) Car: Cars have become so passe, you know, and she needed to get through town incredibly quickly. In addition, with all the fuel used, the trip wouldn't even be worth the cash spent.
2) Plane: The problem with that being she'd have to go to the airport...then go through security...then wait for the plane to arrive...then wait for the plane to take off...and THEN wait for it to land. Far too much time wasted, not to mention the fuel cost being astronomical, and the risk of her outfit being sullied in those coach seats is huge!
Of course, after finding a pair of Converse, she discovered a third option:
3) Grow and Walk: Quick, easy, and simple; become as big as she likes to make the trip as short as possible. On top of that, nothing's wasted besides some collateral damage of things she might "accidentally" crush underfoot, and the entire city will be gawking over her amazing fashion tastes. This is the best option by far...
...Though I'm pretty sure that growth spurt was only a one way burst of size...

My friend why would you assume she would ride in those dirty things first? Wearing converse and growing as you stated is clearly the easiest choice. Time spent? Mere minutes! Resources waster? Don't you mean gain, I mean look at all the admirers she will have now. Will this get her outfit dirty? As you said, some collateral damage aside she will look good. And of course that growth spurt was only one way? Why would she ever wish to return to her normal size? That size is a decent start for her, and you know the saying there is only one way to go and that is up!

Well, of course that's the most obvious choice, but it never hurts to explain all the non-viable options. Besides, you're absolutely right - now that she's grown, why would she ever want to go back? By becoming her own source of transportation, there's really no downside. Though I'm sure she'll want to get places faster as most people do...so there's definitely more irreversible growth in her near future.

My friend do you see how lovely she is! Of course she is going to want to experience more irreversible growth soon! Not only does it allow her to move around quicker, but she gets an even more lovely and powerful body as an added bonus! You are right, it is best she knows of those options she is no longer going to have to suffer through using.

Of course I do, she is incredibly lovely to be certain! Though you're absolutely right: irreversible growth is definitely in her near-future. She would be crazy to deny herself of all those wonderful benefits, all with no disadvantages whatsoever! Someone or some people must inform her the only truly perfect option there is: More irreversible growth!

Amy, why tell her when we can simply show her! *I grin* You know, give her a slight boost and stuff. *With a flick of my finger her growth slowly accelerates* The only disadvantage though in a way is an advantage, when she reaches her full capacity she will dissolve like the rest of them and we shall absorb her. She will continue to grow, except she will be a part of us like all of the other girls! *I stare at the girl hungrily* I like that outfit she is wearing too....

Fill her up with so much power that she'll have no choice but to dissolve! *I then stand next to you, pressing down hard on your Converse as a grand amount of power starts building inside of us* Hehehe, let's see how Little Miss My Toes Are Bigger Than A Thousand Galaxies And Growing handle the might of TWO determined goddesses working together! There's no way she'll be able to stand this, and if she does, we'll have a universal snack later, so it's a win-win for us. *I confidently pat you on the back* You know what to do, Summer - pull away your foot and let's get you that outfit!
