That is indeed my favorite group but for now it's not possible to make an image for it, perhaps some day. It seems like i have some titanosaurs followed by few diplodocids and only 3 brachiosaurids.

I have read numerous books on sauropods but none explain the dramatic drop in diversity at the end of the Jurassic.
Titanosaurs were making a comeback by the Late Cretaceous and even at the very end there was faunas in North
America dominated by the titanosaur Alamosaurus. I read that it was alive at the K/T event.

If you kill the head, the whole thing dies. :3

The same thing can be said about any vertebrates, you included, dude.
However, i believe cutting off a sauropod's head would be a much more difficult task than cutting yours, for exemple ; as sauropod tends to be several meters tall, and rather big for any existing tool you could handle.

Try make it step on some sharp object ; if it lowers its head to check what's stuck in its foot, you'll have a perfect opportunity to cut the head

right, but the other guy was specifically speaking about "cutting" the head.
To kill even the mightiest beast, we human are rather creative ; but when it comes to paying attention or stick to the rules/ procedure, aren't we a lil'bit lazzy ?
