Ahh yes this is finally done~! This week was midterms for me, but since I'm a senior and have a lot of 1 semester classes, I got exempt from a lot so instead of having to go to school today I got to stay home! It's really nice~

Anyway this is my part of an art trade with But this art trade is a little different! Flopy suggested that we do an art trade culture related that shows the real potential of our OTPs! So we sent each other a few different topics that show the cultural relations between out OTPs, and we decided on one without telling the other what topic it was that we chose.

So out of the topics Flopy sent me, I decided on music! Since I'm a musician myself, I really liked the idea of them coming together through the power of music. Here's the info about the musical relations between England and Argentina:

British rock is acclaimed world-wide. And Argentina is no exception for this fanatism.
Argentina's excellent rock music was heavily influenced by british and uruguayan rock, and her music was one of the first non-english speaking music that got popular outside her own country.

"Together with Mexican rock, [Argentine rock] is widely considered one of the most prolific and successful forms of Rock en Español, and one of the most important non-English language forms of rock music in the world."
"The Argentine rock movement was one of the first non-English forms of rock to be commercially successful outside its own nation"

So, despite how much Argentina and England argue with each other over political tension, when a good rock song comes in, they sing along unhesitantly. They're both passionate about rock music! And have similar tastes! Argentina admires England a lot in that matter.
Additionally, there's this curious fact about a Beatles tribute band called "The beats". It's argentine, and it's considered the best beatles tribute band in the world www.thebeatsonline.com/ingles/…

"In the year 1996, it was recognized as THE BEST BEATLE BAND IN THE WORLD by the Beatles Annual Convention from London and Liverpool. They have been praised by Allan Williams in England (first manager of the Beatles) who said: "They sounded even better than the Beatles when I took them to Hamburg" and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein’s personal assistant) who said: "It looks as if the Beatles were born again". Furthermore, they were recognized with important articles in the British newspapers Daily Post and Liverpool Echo."

I guess we can say Argentina is a huge beatles fangirl

and there you have it! These are the relations that England and Argentina have with music! I really liked this idea because this relationship does have its ups and downs, and I loved the idea of Arthur and Tina just having fun together singing along with the music they love

Also, if you haven't yet, or don't know about the portrayal of this ship I strongly suggest you read this journal that Flopy wrote, it's really important when understanding the relationship between England and Argentina, and the way it's portrayed!

I don't know exactly what Top Gear is;is it a programme about cars?
What I know is that past October, there was a very serious controversy when these men from the programme travelled to Argentine Patagonia to film a part of their special. The problem orginated when the argentine settlers saw one of the car's numberplates had potentially offensive letters that were alusive to the Falklands War.
The settlers got so offended that they angrily protested and asked these men not to film their special in their town; because they thought it was a serious disrespect to Argentina. eventually they had to escape to Chile; there was violence.
