16"x20" Oil on canvasThis was an experiment carried out a few years ago. It is the first painting I created using glazing. An opaque under painting was created with umber, all the color was added layer upon layer using only transparent colors.

I really like the glowing effect on the hills in the foreground and the dark colors of the picture. they give the image a warm and mystic mood

Thanks, yes but digital imaging does very slightly enhance the effect.
