Designed these a while back, I just never took a pic! I wore them around a lot and kind of freaked people out, those who had never seen the movie looked at them and were like, "Why do you have wierd faces on your feet..?" I'd just grin.

Acrylic, prismacolor markers, and Faded Glory shoes, (Walmart)

Now, I'm curious... do these shoes ever fade or the colours run when they get wet or something? I was thinking about making a cool pair of shoes for myself, but I wasn't quite sure what would be the best thing to do them in.
I had a friend who did her's in acrylic and it started to flake in some spots! Maybe she just applied too much?

You have to be careful when you wear them in bad weather, I don't because I don't want to get my feet wet. (theres nothing between the canvas and your socks) But I used Prismacolor markers, and they're permanent and good for not running, and once acrylic paint dries on fabric, it won't come off. Sharpie markers do run, they're not totally permanent.

I think your friend maybe used a little too much, when I did these I stretched the acrylic out over the fabric so it would be thinner and so I could layer easier.

They might have known of the other versions of the cheshire cat, like the disney version or something. But this version is my favorite.
