I'm super excited to be debuting this Lady Doctor Who - 11th doctor edition cosplay at OzComic-Con next weekend.Even more excited that Arthur Darvill is going to be there doing photos.

AW cute! I might cosplay as a female 4th Doctor. I just need to make my costume, and curl my hair. I think the library might have a Doctor Who event this year.

I was originally going to go as the 10th Doctor but then I found out that Arthur Darvill is going to be there & I want photos with him so I changed my cosplay so I'd be the right Doctor for when he was a companion.

That's awesome. Which con did you go to? I don't have many cons near where I live, a small boring town in Ohio in the US. The only way I know of a con or meetup in my area is if a friend directs me to one. So far I don't know of any Doctor Who meetups yet.

Haven't been yet, but it's this weekend. It's Oz Comic-Con. It's only it's 3rd year running in Australia this year.

Oh okay, that's cool. XD. I was at Colossal Con last year, and I went as Yami Bakura from YuGiOh. Well, one point in the con, I got lost trying to find a room, and ran into a Dalek (a pretty good Dalek costume too). XD I asked him for directions. He replied "Take a left, and head past the maid cafe. (blocks the doorway) But you aren't going anywhere. EXTERMINATE!!!!" and then he blasted a steam gun. My character Bakura has a British accent in the English dub of YuGiOh, so I replied with "Oh bloody hell. I may not be a time traveling Doctor, but I could easily send your measly species to the Shadow Realm. Good day!" YuGiOh Abridged and Doctor Who, I should make that crossover happen. XD

LOL! That's always fun. I want to try a female 4th Doctor cosplay sometime this year. I love that long scarf of his, and I have a similar hair color as him (just need to curl it a bit) plus a bit of a Cheshire cat smile. I love to impersonate accents as well when I cosplay. What can I say? I'm a bit of an actress at heart.

I think I will. Plus it would also give me an excuse to carry a bag of jelly babies with me (although if I can't find any, I'll probably have to use gummy bears or something). I'll just have to find a meetup to show off my cosplay. Although I could also use it on Halloween this year to pass out candy. I can even decorate the front door to look like the TARDIS! Sweet!

Thank you. XD Last year around Christmas, the school had a special contest where we got creative and decorated doors. My homeroom decorated the door to look like the TARDIS. We got 2nd place.

XD. Don't hold your breath. The school has fun activities like that, but it makes up for it for having a dumb system. Okay, this year we got a lot more snowdays than expected, so instead of adding a day to of the year, we extended the school day by a half hour every Wednesday. WTF!? It was torture! Thank God I graduated this year.
