Did you paint those motion "smears" or did you edit them in on the photograph of it? Either way nice effect!

I've been playing around with getting that painting effect from layering semi-transparent photographs. I use a combination of fading and deleting color selections of each image, and then take the opacity down to about 25-35%. Then i rebuild the image by stacking the layers. The outcomes vary quite a bit, and sometimes it creates this surprising paint effect.
