Lame title strikes back. I guess I could have went with "A Warrior Princess and Two Wolves" but that's long.This is Anishura, Taro, and Souichirou. Anishura is Anishin's, surprise, sister! She is full of Beast pride and walks around all fluffy pretty much all the time. This kind of "pride" is only apparent when Beasts and Anids mix though... It's for the Beast to kind of show off their blood to the weaker Anids. Anishura comes into the story and beats the crap out of Taro...
Taro is the King of his tribe... or Tribe Leader. Whichever. When I first drew him, I didn't have dreads in mind for his hairstyle, but every time I look back at my art of him, it looks like I was trying to draw dreads. I like this look on him anyway, so it's staying this way now. Maybe one day I'll scan in the old art of these guys to burn your eyes with... eh
Souichirou has the longest name ever. I want to change it but I also don't want to change it... Conflicting feelings... He's the sweetest wolf though, and he even had three fangirls in my class. He was possibly the most popular and least drawn character from this story.

Still not used to seeing Anishura all fuzzy, nor did I expect the white mouth area thing. Shocking. But man does she look angry. Gotta love beast and anid tensions.
NOT PC MOMENT:
Taro looks more black than Souichiro. Seriously. It might just be the dreads, but I don't think so. Also, damn Taro is black, I had to make it bigger to see his facial features properly. Ok I'm done not being PC.
It's so weird to see masculine cheebs man....Kind of weird. Also from far away, Taro kind of has Varric's fayse omg. Maybe I'm tired. Or maybe I'm just blind~

Yep. She is a mountain lion/cougar/puma, after all. I didn't really care for it the first time around either but now I still find her quite pretty.
And you're totally correct. Taro is meant to look more... black. Souichirou's features are based more on Native Americans. I had to have a reason for his straight hair.

Omg I love seeing you bring forward all these characters I haven't really seen before. It's always interesting to see an artist drawing people of colour, that's something I ought to do sometime. Gorgeous shading, as ever. I'm beginning to develop a partiality toward your chibis; they're just so unique and out of the norm for chibis. Maybe we should just call them cheeebs

I had a phase where I drew nothing but dark skinned characters... I liked shading them in, I am so terrible.... I would love to see you do something out of your norm, too
