The funny thing is that Bandai made "Machine Robo" and Machine Robo eventually got brought to America by Tonka as "Go-Bots" and eventually Hasbro bought Tonka so that means Go-Bots are now part of the Transformers mythos...sorta.

I must be seeing things. Optimus Prime and the Megazord together? NO WAY! But what does Optimus mean that Megazords not cool? He's awesome. I'd bet Optimus would be jealous if he found out about the roll Megazord got in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. That's an idea for you if you haven't maked on already.
P.S. Have you noticed that both Optimus and Megazord has the shield like mask on their faces?

You'd have a point... if Transformers knew the meaning of the word scale. 
Not that Power Rangers is perfect at scale, either... especially now that they've gone CGI-happy. Monster's towering over buildings in effects shot, then standard size in rubber-suit shot, and we go back and forth and back and forth and ARGH.
